Is there a way to check our UCLA status ONLINE?

Does anyone know if UCLA has a website where we can check online?

Thank you!

I could only find this page which doesn't have individual admissions status yet:
http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Applicant/Decision/default.htm

This page has a list of some other pages, but the application status one is just the overall UC page:
http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/currentapp.htm

So there's no way to check decisions for UCLA electronically? We have to wait for the mail?

it says:
Decisions for the fall term will be sent out via regular mail and will also be available on our online decision site.

Decisions will be available beginning at the end of March, 2007.

so yes, you will be able to see them on-line but not yet.

I called UCLA admissions the guy said that there is noway online to check. You will recieve your admission decision in the mail by april 30. Dont expect it earlier than then.

april 30? or do you mean march 30?

april?

it can't be that late?

i think he/she/ meant march..because dont we have to submit the SIR by may 1?

^ haha that'd be pretty funky... receiving it on 4/30 and having to submit SIR by the day after.

I've heard of a non-engineering student that already got their acceptance letter--are they sending some out early?

I dont think so. The only ppl ive heard of knowing about their admission status are the regent scholar invitees or the 2000 engineers who were notified with likely letters

so if you get rejected, will you still get a letter by mail?

Um, you check your admission decision online. That's how it was last year, anyway. The online is definitely earlier than the regular mail.

i havent receieve anything from ucla. anyone else?

Nope, haven't gotten ANYTHING from UCLA, e-mail or snailmail since I submitted the application.

I have recieved email from Berkeley, messages from UCSD about the most randomest things (including one titled "New Route Added to Free Bus Zone"... I do have to admit that I like these b/c it shows that the school isn't stone-hearted), and a letter from Davis about ELC and guaranteed admissions-- but nothing from UCLA.

nothing at all..

hhaha cool i thought i was the only one.

the only person i know who recieved a message was someone that needed to write another personal statement.

i just recieved the ucla alumni scholarship..

the only correspondence that i have received from UCLA was a pleasant little notification informing me that my name and ss# were in a database that was hacked into... didn't exaclty make me feel very positively towards wanting to go there
