btw, can u give me the link to the fb group that u speak of?

what sucks is since central and hill are one option, it means you have to get your first choice to be in either. Second and third choices are automatically going to be north campus.

did anyone else hear anything new?

Not sure why there is so much hate for NW III housing. It really isn’t THAT bad… And I’m assuming you’re a freshman in which it’s even better than the “standard” NW3 housing (location).

Did you stay there? Isn’t it across from the rec center?

Want to feel better about your “sucky” dorm rooms locations? Go look at the thread where all of the waitlisted students are being rejected. That should help to put things in the proper perspective.

To put a positive spin on things, Northwoods gives you an apartment rather than a box-sized dorm room; you get a kitchen, your own living room, and a bathroom. Not too terrible if you ask me!

true- thanks for positive post haha

And yes I did stay at NW3. I’m also returning to NW3 this next semester because I did enjoy it.

How’s the social scene there?

My lottery number was 1520 and I got stuck in northwood. That makes absolutely no sense!

Are you guys sure you got Northwood? When you first get on the housing page it says northwood for everyone. You only know your hall after you click on the meal plan option.

Wow thanks for informing me to pick my meal plan and then view the contract. I guess I didn’t end up in Northwood. I got assigned to west quad.

And your 80-year old appliances will only break down 3 times a week! It’s a great deal!

Sorry, still a little bitter about my year in NW3.

better than no kitchen…am i right?
