I was wondering if there is a possibility to know who is teaching specific classes in fall 2014. I am trying to research every detail before choosing between UW and other school that i was accepted to. I am very interested in reading reviews and evaluations about professors and classes they teach.

Unfortunately, UW doesn't list who is going to be teaching for all of its classes. One example is the Arabic language. I would like to study it since it is going to be part of my research. Any advice or experience with such a situation.

The time schedule with the professors who will be teaching in fall quarter will be released in several weeks- so check back in a few more weeks. It’s still early in spring quarter so students haven’t registered yet!
Some classes, like Arabic/Spanish/occasionally Math, etc will not have professors listed for a while since they could end up being taught by a PhD candidate. In that case you could contact the department!
Another option would be to go on the departmental websites and you can look at lists of professors and what they teach- although you won’t know specifics, you’ll be able to get an idea.

Not all of the instructors are listed yet, but you can take a look here: http://www.washington.edu/students/timeschd/AUT2014/arabic.html

If you change the URL from AUT2014 to AUT2013, you can see the instructors from last Fall. There’s sometimes a pattern on who teaches the courses, but it’s not completely set in stone. You can also change AUT (Autumn) to WIN (Winter), SPR (Spring), or SUM (Summer).

I suggest choosing a school based on course content rather than the instructors, since faculty changes every now and then.

Thank you speedlover, indeed i am trying to figure out if the teachers are going an actual professors and not a graduate ta as it is normally acceptable. I am interested in knowing the professors in order to learn more about their research and see to what extent they can help me and support me during the research. It will also help make make a better decision.

The teachers for your main class (e.g. lecture) will all be professors. Grad students only teach the discussions.
