Or is it just like the dorms?

nope! but i never found myself wanting for air conditioning anytime during my 5 years at UCSD. a small tabletop fan is sufficient for the warmest of summer nights … and i come from sacramento (where temps in the summer can exceed 110F), so believe me, i know what it means to be hot. :)

as for the daytime, that’s your incentive for getting a job – free a/c is lovely.

(Sorry for going off-topic)
Hey astrina, which part of Sacramento are you from?

18 years in 95831 … but i didn’t go to kennedy.

how about yourself?

Almost a month late in replying…not too shabby. About 8 years in the 95630.

lol, things have changed. It can get really hot nowadays. I remember during the fall, our dorm was SO HOT in the morning, it was like AN OVEN. We retreated to the suite because our rooms were killing us. Fan didn’t help. I was looking forward to air conditioning next year..
