Is there an advantage to sending app in early?

I have my part done, but I am still waiting on a teacher recommendation. So is there a point in sending my part? Will it hurt if my application isn't completely submitted until closer to the deadline?

thanks!!

no .

^Hey, how did you get away with less than 10 char?!?

=] .

You can send it in now, you can send it in later. As long as your part is submitted before the deadline it doesn’t matter.

ye p

thanks! but any explanation as to yes/no?

they do not start reading RD until after SCEA decisions are out (according to the admis. off. for our area.)
so unless you are applying for SCEA, you have lots of time

yeah I know I have lots of time for RD schools, but I’m applying SCEA. 2 weeks… :/

Q: “Will it hurt if my application isn’t completely submitted until closer to the deadline?”
A: “No”

Why? Because something so trivial would be insane to consider as an advantage/disadvantage given the care and concern they attribute in their reading of apps.

They have already begun to read the 5000+ EA apps. Close or near to a deadline as a submitted app is about as meaningless a factor as one can imagine, no?

Relax. Just get your stuff in and hope for the best. This isn’t an area where people are “gaming” and you might miss out on some advantage.
