of buying brand new (in this case 08-09) ap books, instead of ones from a few years ago? i could understand buying new books on tests that have changed recently, such as chem, but for the tests that haven't, is buying brand new study books worth the money?

Usually not.

Yeah, there usually isn't a difference; one time, I compared an old version of the subject book test to a current one (2000 to 2007), and nothing in it had changed.

Unless you know the format changed, don't buy a new book, and even then, usually only the practice tests change; the review material itself doesn't.

well they base the book on how easy last year's test was. I would go with the most recent one
