What major are you going for?

Well, there’s always a chance if you apply…but given your stats and the fact you’re considering CS, your chances aren’t very high. You’d need some pretty high test scores and stellar personal statements to make up for your lower GPA.

By the way, SAT subject tests aren’t required for admission anymore. Still send the scores if you take them, but keep that in mind if none of the other schools you’re applying to require them.

why did i mess up in high school… my grades dont reflect my capabilities (averaged A’s and a few B’s my sophomore year, but for some reason screwed up my junior year…) sigh…oh well

if you really want to go to UC Davis but you don’t get in, what you can do is take lower division prereqs at your community college and then transfer (of course, you would need to make sure classes you take at community college, if you end up going that route, are equivalent to courses at UCD).
