Well, my D was accepted to Evergreen State without an essay. It was optional. I don't think the CSU application requires an essay either.

Evergreen State...great environment...filled with lazy pot-smoking leftwingers.

There are many schools just requiring the commonapp essay.
Tulane's individual school application w/o an essay is one that comes to mind.

I think Indiana is essay-optional.

i can see why u dont want an essay given the grammatical content in the title :) jk. At most public universities in the plains states/midwest/south, no essay is required.

I think few, if any, of the Canadian colleges require them.

Tulane - no essay

im fairly certain rutgers does require them...

Heavenwood, so what you're saying is that a lot of Evergreen grads go on to be Ivy League English professors?''

Yeah..Evergreen State College...is a really BAD school..

Iowa, Minnesota, and Cal State schools don't require essays...

Generally, the best colleges will require essays.
