Just wondering if there is a curve. And if there is, what it's like. Also, are graphing calculators allowed on all exams, and how many exams are there. Also, are exams pretty much the entire grade for the course?

I’m taking STATS 250 this semester. At the beginning of the semester, we found out that the grading scale is such that a 92-96 is an A, an 88-92 is an A-, an 84-88 is a B+, an 80-84 is a B, a 76-80 is a B-, a 72-76 is a C+, and a 68-72 is a C. So in a sense, there is sort of a curve in that the grading scale is different than most classes. But otherwise, I don’t think there is a curve.
If it helps, the median on our first exam was a 62/75, or a B on this scale. While I think this class is easier to understand than other math courses at the U of M, there are still people who dray over stats (and no, I don’t consider people who dislike or have trouble with stats dumb).
Graphing calculators are allowed on all 3 exams. There are 2 different grading methods. One of them involves counting the HW/lab sections, the 1st AND 2nd exam for 20% each, and the final for 40%. The other method is to have the HW worth 20% and the final worth 80%. Whichever method leads to the highest grade for you will be the one used. I hope this helps.
