Due to personal reasons, I will not be able to submit my application today... I know that if you apply early, you have multiple chances of getting accepted, and your chances are better (that's what I heard)... I will be able to submit my application this weekend, and I was just wondering if my chances will go down because I decided to apply to the November 1st deadline? I'm just really worried because this is my first choice college. Thanks.

No, there should not be a big difference in applying to either of there Early Action dates. The Nov. 1 deadline still allows you to be considered for all the scholarships and specific schools that the oct.15 deadline is considered for. This is mainly for students who are a little late in testing and would benefit from sending later scores. Plus the decision date for oct. 15 allows you to know before regular decisions to other universities, alleviating you to apply for them, while nov. 15 is in january so you would have to apply to other schools (hopefully). I also applied to nc state, so good luck to both of us!
