I am in a dual-credit program in Washington state at the local community college. Though i want to keep various options for out-of-state universities or community colleges that accept dual credit. If you know any universities or colleges that accept dual-credit, then thank you very much for your responses.
I do not know of any college or university in the country that does not admit students who have dual credits.
@happymomof1 So are you saying EVERY university is accepting credits? Is there a limit to how many you could have?
You are asking 2 different questions. 1-- do they accept students with DE credit and 2-- do they accept the DE credits as transfer credit. The answer to the first question is yes. The answer to the 2nd question is that it depends on the school. Go to their websites and read. Some accept no transfer credit but will allow it for placement. Some limit the number of credit hours, etc. No one can answer the question for you. You need to spend time researching the schools you are interested in. If in doubt, call them and ask.
@Mom2aphysicsgeek Thanks!
Many privates will do a course-by-course assessment of each class and often reject some transfer credits while accepting others. Unless you are transferring to a public institution in your state, I would assume that you’re not going to be able to transfer all of your credits.
Okay then. Thank you! I am still in the process of my college search.
