Is there any use in me taking the subject tests soon?

I plan on taking Math II and Physics and/or Chem. I'm a junior and I'm in IB math chem physics HL, and these are my strongest subjects, but when I did a practice one I didn't feel too confident...

Math II I think I'll be fine, and can take it anytime, but for Physics and Chem should I wait until june so that we can cover more of the material in class?

Or would it be smart to take the Math II, and maybe the other ones as well, in January and hopefully get a good score, and if not I can take them again in June? (I would revise at home for physics and chem obviously) :)

thanks for any help

I recommend taking them all at once in June.

Good luck

I would recommend taking them separately if you can. From my experience, it’s more difficult to take more than one on the same day. Out of 25 people in the room to take subject tests, about 7 stayed for a second and only 1-2 stayed to take a third.

I agree with SpaceDuck in terms of taking them at the end of your classes; you will be more familiar with the material. If I were you, I would take Math II on May 4th (since you said you could take it anytime) and take Physics and/or Chem in June.

Or your other option, you could sign up for one or two in January to practice and get an idea of where you are and what you need to study. Don’t stress too much, you can always study over the summer and take them again in the fall of your senior year.

Thanks for the reply guys  I think I’ll definitely take the math II before and separately from the Physics and Chem ones .

thanks !
