Is there any way to know who will teach what classes next semester?

For people who want to plan ahead, or perhaps avoid a bad professor, is there any website that shows what courses will be offered Spring 2014? Thanks!

There isn’t an official schedule out yet for Spring 2014, but I think departments already have a tentative plan for who is going to be teaching what class in what semester. So if you’re really concerned, I would recommend going to see an advisor from that department.

Past trends might also help in figuring who’ll teach what.

Also, professors might also be changed last minute, or they won’t be named on the schedule for a while… which really sucks. But good luck!

Some departments post schedule drafts pretty well in advance… EE[/URL”>http://www.eecs.berkeley.edu/Scheduling/EE/schedule-draft.html]EE and CS[/URL”>CS 2023-2024 Draft Schedule | EECS at UC Berkeley]CS do, at least. Try poking around Google, you might find one for the department you want.
