Is there any way to not show your senior grade( in application process)

My senior grade is falling so I was planning to apply early. However, my sat score isn’t good enough so I want to retake it again which makes applying early not possible. I found out that there is a thing called ed2 that has a same deadline as regular. Are there any reasons why people would apply early if the deadline is the saem? If I apply before my first semester senior grades comes out, does this mean that they don’t consider my senior grade in their admission process? My first semester grade comes out at like end of december.

  1. Colleges absolutely consider senior grades and cores rigor in the admissions process. They will generally ask for first quarter or first semester grades (depending on timing). In addition colleges ask for a final transcript and have the right to rescind an offer of admission if a student does not keep up his/her grades.

  2. The advantage of doing ED1 is if an applicant is ready, they will get an answer back sooner (generally by December so there is time to file applications with additional colleges if the applicant is deferred/rejected)

If you are failing Senior year and do you get accepted, you still take the chance that your acceptance will be rescinded. I would try and figure out how to get your grades up before you have to send your mid-year transcripts.

Some schools will consider your Senior grades and some will not, it all depends upon the school. Either way, F’s in Senior year still could lead to being rescinded. You still have to send final transcripts to any school you plan to enroll.
