Is there any way to verify that supplemental information was received?

<p>This is just something I get really paranoid about. If we send in additional material, is there any way we can verify that it was received?</p>

<p>I'm curious as I've recently thought of a new essay topic that could be an incredibly important part of my application (basically, explaining some circumstances), and I'll be even more stressed out without know that it did, definately, get there.</p>

<p>You can enclose a stamped-addressed post card saying "materials for me? received by MIT"--if you're lucky, they'll mail it back to you. My D. did that--it worked at one school but not at another--so she phoned them for confirmation.</p>
