<p>I turned my common app in online on Jan. 1 and it was downloaded Jan. 2, and still nothing. I'm a little nervous. Is anyone else in the same situation?</p>
<p>I mailed my app in a couple of months ago and am still waiting.</p>
<p>i just got a confirm letter from them date Jan 5th.... so prolly yours is in the mail and it's just taking a long time or they are still processing your app. However, even with the confirm and the PIN to check recipt of materials, they have a posting saying that due to the high volume of mail, they cant confirm any materials. So just hold tight, I know it's hard to do - I am having a similar situation with another school - and if you dont hear nething by then end of Jan, give them a call.</p>

<p>I think that they are slow about these things. My daughter submitted the pre-application by paper in September and applied in October by paper application. She withdrew the application in December after being accepted at her first choice. She never received a confirmation of the pre-application, application, or withdrawal of the application, nor did Dartmouth return the self-addressed confirmation postcards that were included in her application mailing and in her teachers' recommendation mailings. Dartmouth did cash the application fee check and my daughter did receive the Post Office return receipt card for the application, but it still was nervous making.</p>
<p>I'd contact them if you haven't heard from them by the end of the month. Everything is probably fine but you'll feel much better about it. Three months is such a long time to have to wait.</p>

<p>hey does anyone elses still show the letter saying that they are currently updating materials.....cuz that is kind of outdated since they said the status would be updated by January....</p>

<p>No, actually my page says "We have received all materials necessary to begin the review of your Regular Decision application. Should we have any questions or require further materials from you, we will contact you directly via email or telephone" and some other stuff, including that the decisions will be posted on the website in early April, as well as mailed. Does anyone know if this means April 1 or a little earlier/later?</p>
