is it possible?? :(

Last grading period, I had an 84 in Honors US History and brought it up to a 97 for my report card. I am hoping to do the same this grading period because I currently have a pretty bad grade.

I hope to :)
Our DiffEq grade is entirely based on tests, each of which has about five free-response questions. We've had one so far, and I made a couple of stupid sign errors and got a 77. If I'd been more careful I would've gotten a perfect score.

Though assuming there's at least one more test and a final (which I'm assuming is worth twice as much as an actual test), and I get above a 95 on each of them, I'll have an A in the class. I typically get 100s on my math tests anyway, so it should be no problem as long as I check my work.

I went from F on quarter report grade for "Chemistry" to A for "Honors Chemistry" (which means learning crapload of additional material) :)
So, don't give up :)

i feel ya.

Don't give up. Talk to the teacher. Answer and ask ?s in class. Hopefully, you'll get your desired grade.

I brought up a D to a B- in Honors Geometry. =O!!!

Last year, I brought up a 20 at mid-quarter to an 83 by the end of the quarter. That was in honors math. Had to ace every test.

It was pretty cool, actually.

God, I really hope so X_X Because I have a mid-C in Precalc right now and I'm terrified colleges are going to reject me if I don't bring it up to at least a B or, since I'm applying to a couple colleges this semester, rescind their offer of admission. Granted, I have all As in everything else... XD I ALWAYS panic, I probably have no reason to (well, it is a C lol) but yeah =/ I could use the Honors credit (weighted grades in calculating GPA), too, haha.

Good luck!

thanks u people , i will try my best. ( does that mean u need to ace the rest of tests?....)))?

Talk to the teacher they are actually a lot more understanding than you think...I managed to talk my Algebra II teacher from an F to a C- so it is possible and yeah you're going to want to ace as many tests and as many hw assignments, etc. as possible

i went from a 65% in the halfway period of the semester to an 89% in the end
ask for extra credit, more help so that ur tests are higher
make sure u bump up ur grades early b/c thats when there arent a lot of points yet and its easier that way

wow this is very inspirational... since i have C in apush

i had a C in calc bc for about a week, and a couple quizzes/tests later, i'm at a high B+ :) :knocks on wood:

I have F in AP Lang right now. Hope situation changes with some resubmits.

It's possible, especially when the prof sees the grades near the end of the semester and decides to curve. You'll go from a 55 to an 80 real fast ;).
