Who has a photographic memory? Like if you take a page of notes, go over it max two times, would you still remember word for word what you wrote?

I rely on memory for tests
not so much studying
but photographic
I don't think so
I would have to be tested on that

Indeed. If I am paying close attention for a certain period of time, I can "rewind" and "play" and "pause" that period of time with good accuracy. I can recreate precise words and body movements, given that I was paying attention at the time.
And for your second question, yes, with 90%+ accuracy. :)

Excuse me if I sound pretentious.

No it doesn't sound pretentious at all. I think it comes naturally to some people. The question is how many actually can do this because i felt that everyone could do that.

No... I don't think many people can. I can give highlights of a conversation and have a few precise words even if I'm not paying attention but thats about it.

I rely on common sense for tests. If I know it, I know it. If I don't and I can't figure it out, I'm a bit screwed. This works well for science and math but not so much for english.

I think someone at my school has a photographic memory. Every year we have this contest on who can recite the decimals of pi the farthest and she can recite it to around 400 places.

Not really, but I do remember random phrases and body movements once in a while.

I have somewhat of a photographic memory. Like if I stare at a page in a textbook for a couple of minutes, I can remember things from the page by knowing their location on the page.

I'm a very visual learner, but I do not take notes.

I envy those with great memory capacity. I sometimes wish I could train my memory some how.

That's pretty cool. I usually remember non important facts and things that almost never help me in anything.

Should be doing "It's Academic!" then :P

it depends. with somethings I have a great memory. like when I'm in plays I can memorize speeches after reading them through a couple times.
numbers... not so much. it can take me years to learn a phone number if I don't try. seriously. I probably had to call my great-grandmother once a week for years... I never actually did learn that number.
If I have to memorize a page of notes I probably couldn't do it very easily. I'm much more likely to just remember the lecture. like on my political science final... I actually studied with notes, but the only things I remembered on the test were not in the notes.
So I do sometimes, with somethings.
