I am applying to go to one of schools in Australia to carry on my high school study.I was thinking of taking IB Diploma there,as I have always put up going to US as my final destination. However, these days many people kept telling me IB was doubtless a tough challenge,I began to question if it was a wise decision to do that. The reason is that I am not a native english speaker,in other words my ability might not meet the qualification demanded by IB.The other alternative is VCE,which is said to be easier than IB.Nevertheless I know little about it.
I will be grateful if anyone could provide some information or comment.
Thank you.

Even though it’s harder, the IB is well recognised anywhere in the world. Almost all admissions counselors know about the difficulties/specifics of the IB. Not to say that the VCE is not a good option, but im just saying the IB being difficult will not automatically disadvantage you
