I am applying to go to one of schools in Australia to carry on my high school study.I was thinking of taking IB Diploma there,as I have always put up going to US as my final destination. However, these days many people kept telling me IB was doubtless a tough challenge,I began to question if it was a wise decision to do that. The reason is that I am not a native english speaker,in other words my ability might not meet the qualification demanded by IB.The other alternative is VCE,which is said to be easier than IB.Nevertheless I know little about it.
I will be grateful if anyone could provide some information or comment.
Thank you.

I did HSC... which is similar to VCE I think, maybe slightly harder, but I am sure victorians would love to disagree with me on that one. I don't really know about IB except that its got more requirements than HSC/VCE although I think I satisfied all their required courses with my HSC course selection.

Seriously if you work hard and get good grades its definetly possible to get into a US school. I mean I screwed the second half of 9th grade and didn't really work that hard until 12th grade AND screwed my semi-finals in 12th grade and of the two schools I've heard back from I got into both. So I dunno.

Lol beeish.
This thread was like made for u.

:P hahahahaha I am just glad to be done... stupid HSC
