is there anyone that recieved a supplement to ucla and still got rejected?

<p>just wanted to clarify, because i got info that apparently its 90% for sure that if you get a supplement from ucla that you get in, because colleges send them out to the people they want in but need more info from. this person also told me that people who got the supplement last year and actually sent it back were all accepted. is this true?? =/</p>

<p>I have a friend who received a supplemental application from UCLA this year. However, he was rejected.</p>

<p>Receiving a supplemental just means they're on the fence..you have a 50/50 chance of getting in, and those chances are boosted by the quality of your supplemental (essays, requested fall grades, ect)</p>

<p>4 kids in our school got the supplement and only 1 (me) was accepted.</p>
