Hello, I'm an admitted student to UCLA and I wanted to stay overnight because I think it's important to get a feel for the college. Unfortunately, I don't really know anyone who's going there so I would like to know if someone is willing to host me Thursday or Friday night? Thanks for the help!

get a hotel? Asking strangers to let you into their home sounds pretty creepy.

Are you male or female?

^lol exactly.

I second staying in a hotel. Are you already going here? If so, you’ll be able to stay over during orientation

ABSOLUTELY stay at a hotel. The W Hotel on Hilgard is literally a block from campus. Enjoy your visit and be SAFE.

There’s a guest house on campus for visitors. I stayed there during a campus visit recently and it was nice and included a great breakfast.

I can also vouch for the guest house I stayed there in October while visiting the campus. It’s practically a hotel on campus.

what field/major are you interested in?

we have a guest house on campus? WHERE?!

On Charles e young drive east round about the junction with hilgard ave and wyton drive

If you’re staying at that guest house, try to stay with 1-2 people (you can split the room to probably around $55 per night per person if you do so w/two people.)

I’m guessing admissions doesn’t coordinate overnight stays for admitted students…
