Is there anyone who's ever...?

Alright, so I thought of this idea a while ago, but I thought it wasn't a good idea... Then I saw someone on CC ask about the same thing! No one really responded to his thread though.

Since most schools superscore the SAT; what if you took it 3 times, and each time just focused on one specific section?

Kind of like this:

1st time: (focus on math): 600CR 600W 730M
2nd time: (focus on CR): 740CR 600W 690M
3rd time: (focus on W): 680CR 710W 680M

Superscore it and you have yourself a 1470/2180

That's just an example though...

Good idea or not?

Well there is a chance that the school you are applying to will want all of your SAT scores in addition to your superscore, or they may not want the superscore at all, so you better do some research for the schools you want to go to before you do this.

LOLLLL! OMG I was thinking the same thing yesterday!!

But I think colleges thought of that too XD

Haha I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s thought of doing that!

But brainiac makes a valuable point. Although most schools superscore…

Some don’t.
and some, as brainiac said, look at every single score…

Of course, in that case, submit the ACT? :p

Haha I think I’ll stick with the SAT just because I studied my butt off all summer… XD
