Is there anything I can do?

I was just getting everything together to send in a scholarship application, and I just realized that I never got my high school transcript, which it says I need to attach to the application.

We're on Spring Break, and the next day I have school is April 20th. The scholarship stuff is due April 20th. Is there anything at all I can do, or am I screwed? :/

Unless you can figure out a way to get your hands on a transcript, you’re probably screwed. However; you may want to write a note explaining about spring break, attach it to the scholarship package, and overnight it once you get the transcript on April 20.

My daughter did the same thing with a scholarship and a weekend that was extended because of a “snow day”. We sent it in anyway…haven’t heard anything yet  but who knows!

Even though you are on break, the school’s office might be open. It is worth a try.

Many schools subscribe to a service that sends out their certified transcripts from another location. You can pay with CC online-- the school doesn’t need to be open.

Our school uses Docufide:

[Docufide: Education’s Trusted Intermediary for exchanging student transcripts](http://www.docufide.com/index.jsp)

They handle about 3500 schools, I assume there are other services. Check your high school website and search for “transcript.”
