<p>What’s funny is that everyone thinks someone like him shouldn’t be accepted to schools like Andover and Yale, but he actually was and still is almost a sure bet even though the elite colleges/BS have gone through such drastic changes since his time. His family background of course would always be a big help, but even without it he’d still be a strong candidate. He played multiple varsity sports and had a winning personality or particularly strong interpersonal communication skills. He could be a B or C students at Andover (we don’t know), but he could’ve got good grades in a local middle school as American schools are just SO different. He would be full-pay and could be a potential development case (there’s a scholarship in George HW Bush’s name at Andover today).</p>
