<p>The opt-out exam is called the “Upper division Composition” which is going to be held on October 22th,2011.</p>

I think we get to take that after a set amount of credits of English. I suppose you start from workload and go from there. Can anyone verify this?</p>
<p>Yeah the upper division composition opt-out exam is for juniors and seniors who haven’t taken a set amount of english courses or something like that.</p>
<p>Also, you do start from workload and then do english 3 or uwp 1</p>
<p>it’s 2 different courses. there is the lower div english, and the upper div, english requirement. the exam of which you speak you may only take after acquiring 70 units, and is for the UPPER div req. you sound like you still need to pass the lower div one…</p>
