Are you in-state in Indiana?

What is your unweighted GPA?

What is your intended major?

I have seen students who had a safety school that was a great fit for them. This is entirely reasonable.

Yes im instate, unweighted i think around 3.8 smt. inteded major neuroscience.

Have you taken any AP/IB/pseo course?

I think that if you keep working the way you are, you’ll be fine. IU is a great school.

Apply as soon as the app opens. Do pay attention to your essays. If you’ve been enrolled in AP/pseo etc, apply to the honors college.

You’re definitely fine. Just apply before November 1 to get maximum scholarship consideration

@MYOS1634 you don’t need to apply to the honors college. you are considered automatically

^ true, I’d forgotten. Even better for op, all the more reason to put together a good application early on.

Indiana does not have competitive admissions. You’ll be more than fine with those stats. Apply early and you’ll have a decision in a couple weeks

If you think there’s even the slightest possibility of not getting in, find another school to which you can apply, one that you’re more confident in. Better now than to be scrambling next winter.
