Is there hope for admission to ucb/ucla?

So I am an international student majoring in computer science in a California Community College(quarter system) seeking to transfer to either uc berkeley or ucla. I’ve been able to maintain a pretty good gpa(3.96) until the fall quarter. However in the winter quarter I got a C+ for my physics(the second out of the three series physics major prereq) class, but my other classes have been As. This dropped my gpa to a 3.86. So hypothetically, I am already rejected from both ucla and ucb since even if I do get accepted, I am unable to fulfill their admission contracts. So my question is, what is my best course of action to take right now? and is there even hope? I’d like to prepare myself. Thank you to whoever answers!

Sorry I think I might have made things a bit unclear. So I am actually a second year cc student and already applied so the winter quarter would be the second last quarter. I suppose my question would be, is there even hope for admission to ucb/ucla if the admission contract of not getting a grade lower than a B is violated.
