I should be a senior in high school but am finishing school early by taking classes at my local community college. Last spring(of 09) I took a comp class at night and got a C+. Then over the summer, I took intro to psych and got a D because it was intense for a summer class. I just ended the fall semester, and I took 4 classes. I didn't realize how hard taking 4 classes was gonna be. I also have a learning disability. And my crush came to community college from another college, and I haven't seen him in awhile, so he kinda distracted me. As a result of all 3 of these things, so far my final grades for the fall semester are a C, B, and F(but I don't think I deserve an F and I emailed my teacher about it). I am waiting on one more grade, that I either got a D in, or failed.
I know I am capable of doing better though. I will be taking 3 classes in the spring semester and am gonna try hard to get all A's in them. My goal is to take classes this spring semester, take a class over the summer(probably effetive speaking) and then in august start applying to colleges to transfer to in the spring of 2011. But I'm scared that the failing grade(s) will slim my chances of transferring to any colleges. I did the calcuations, and if I do get a F on the other grade I'm waiting on, but I get A's in my spring semester classes and summer class, I'll have a 2.45 GPA. If I get one F, I'll have a 2.55 GPA.
So do I still have a chance of getting into colleges to transfer to? The classes I'm taking in the spring are Educational Psychology, Intro to Women's Studie's, and Human Growth and Development. And the summer class I wanna take is Effective Speaking, and I wanna take it online.
