I'm just curious because I'm deciding if I should drop a class I'm taking or keep up with it. I know ideally the answer will be "get an A" in the class, but that's not the point. I KNOW I can get an B in said class with no trouble, but Im trying to go for straight A not 15 credits with 4 As and 1 B. Since I'm trying to transfer to a new school.

In the end, the school I'm trying to transfer to (University of Delaware) says that the minimum for consdieration for the major I'm looking to apply to is a 2.0. If I get the B i'll have a 2.95, if I drop the class I'll have a 2.97, if I can keep the class and get an A, I'll have a 3.0 flat).

Granted I have a lot of extras to make up for this "low" gpa such as leader of 3 clubs, a 2500 dollar government grant I applied for and won for helping at risk youth, 28 ACT score, and hedl a job for 35 hrs a week, and maintained a 4.0 the summer and semester before.

But will they bew a 2.95, or a 2.97 any differently than a 3.0? with a minimum 2.0 requirement, yet a possible .05 GPA point range, will that .05 point range make or break me?
