I am an international student applying to UBC and UW mechanical engineering.
My 11th grade marks were ok, but my 12th grade marks dropped...like a lot....:(((

11th grade marks are
IB Chemistry HL 93
IB Physics HL 93
IB Math HL 88
IB German HL 91
IB English SL 89
IB Economics SL 96
TOK(Theory of Knowledge) 90
(My adjusted GPA is 3.89...)

AND my...12th grade first semester marks are...

IB Chemistry HL 77.9 :(((((
TOK(Theory of Knowledge) 91.7
IB German B HL 91.6
IB English SL 81.7
IB Physics HL 87.2
IB Economics SL 93.8
IB Math HL 78.4 :((((
Average of all the 7 classes 86.04
Average of Top 6 courses 87.4
(My adjusted GPA is 3.47...)

My predicted IB grade was 39~41(with the 2 bonus points) in 11th grade. However, I think it dropped like to 37.....

What are my chances for being at least on the wait list so that I have at least a chance to do better in the next semester?

My grades are not adjusted. My school adds 0.33 to the GPA and not to the percentage. How does the adjustment work? Will they only receive my letter grade?

I am also unsure if they accept TOK as a class....
Without the TOK the average would be 85.1

Thanks
