Will me taking 12 credits at baruch a semester be much worse than taking 16 or 17 credits a semester? I'm an accounting major in my junior year hoping to get a cpa, and work in a big 4 or McGladrey etc

I’m in Baruch btw

No, it is not worse, but better!!! If you take 12 or 13 credits, it will be much easier for you to
maintain a high GPA, which is very important in accounting. As long as you are a full time student, you should be fine. IMO, it is much better to be involved in clubs and take 12 credits, rather than spend that time for taking extra classes. I don’t think that employers will care whether you received your degree part time or full time, but instead, they will care about
what kind of classes you took, your GPA, and a knowledge you acquired.

I would be working 20 hours a week instead. might have time for only one club
