im off from school thursady so might take a whole practice test and correct it. is this a bad idea

Nope, not a bad idea (since you don't go to school on Thursday).
Just don't do anything huge on Friday.

Btw, WHY are you off on Thursday?
Or is this just you getting yourself off on Thursday? (In that case, take off Wednesday... )

hrmm, i'm off school wednesday... Idk.. I heard people say that you shouldn't take full SATS when its that close, b/c it might psyche you out?

^ Well, I would definitely take another one if I was off school.
You have nothing else to do if you're off school.

Not taking a practice test (or at least a couple of practice sections...) would freak me out. But maybe that's just me.

I'm probably not going to be taking another practice test though... have to deal with homework and stuff.
Why don't teachers understand that since the SAT and APs are closing in, they should let students off the hook for a while!!?
Nooo, they want to cramp us with projects and presentations in this week.
Oh man! I think I'm going to slip in a rant-mode now. I haven't started on my homework yet. =/

lol... yeah i have a lot to do too. I just remembered I have a track meet that day... soo... I don't think im going to take another one.

I don't do sports... I suck at sports. I barely manage to get an 'A' in gym. Some sucking up is involved in that too. :D

(And by this you can't conclude that I'm a nerd. Nerds don't suck up).

Sorry about going off-topic, ryanc54.

Conclusion: Don't take the test under timed, proper conditions... take the 9 sections (or 8 if you don't want to do the essay)... just as a "practice".

That way, you'll be relaxed and you'll still be preparing for the SAT. :)

My school finished 2 weeks ago. Normally it finishes at the end of June, but I've got my GCSEs coming up, so I have study leave. Not quite "holiday" yet, though...

GCSE's? lol and nerds to suck up Feed.

^ Nerds don't need to suck up. They make the teacher give them good grades. =B

(I wonder if gym's an exception though.)

I hate those people who're good at everything. >_<
Well, maybe not hate. But definitely not like.

^ Totally agree (with the second bit!)

It's like - nerds get good grades but suck at sports.
Then this other dude gets good grades, becomes class valedictorian and kicks ass in sports, music, wins awards.

It's like SCREW YOU!

This probably applies to 99.9% of CC'ers.....

runs away

Oh, and by the way, GCSEs are British exams (I'm actually taking IGCSEs, which is the international version). They're pretty important - if you want to go to Oxford or Cambridge (and also other top British unis like Imperial, UCL etc.). You take the exams in your sophomore year.

I shouldn't be posting here. I should be studying. It's 3:25am. Talk about sleep deprivation :/ I needed a minute of procrastination time.

wow....................................... super nerds. lol and, one of my good friends are one of those ppl (class vic. sports, etc) haha! I'm a lower level of him though....... sigh.

im off because of a holy day of obligation
