<p>Total is 16 hours, not too unreasonable imo.</p>
<p>That does seem pretty heavy to me if you are a freshman, im guessing you are a turing scholar and from what ive heard, lin's 315 class is not easy, i would suggest you do 13-14 hours in your freshman year, but then again that is my opinion. If you're pretty good in cs(and im guessing u are) you should be able to manage i guess.</p>
<p>313 is hard. For the first semester of your freshman year, I'd say 16 hours with that and Calc is pretty hardcore. Just remember that you have until about the 12th class day to DROP a class--usually you get a grade back before then. Do not hesitate to drop a class if you're getting overwhelmed.</p>
