Are those two A-s gonna hurt me or will the fact that theyre AP courses offset that?

Thats a bazooka im firing at you... for the love of god TWO A- wont matter... declining means A+ to B+ type thing with a complimented change in GPA

If u get B's in ur serior year and send the midyear report, then it may seem so. But stop being paranoid... next ur gonna say, my 10th mark was 93% now it is 92.9%....

Peace, and u have a kickass transcript. Congrats :)

These are not declining grades. But to reach your goal, you have to look past your raw academics. What are your EC's? S (now a junior, EE major at Rice) sent a similar transcript along with near perfect SATs and an 800 on the physics SAT II. It was the most demoralizing day of his life when his rejection letters came from Stanford, MIT, and Cal Tech came all on the same day. Thank God Rice was his first choice.

A- is killer man. I mean, maybe you can still get into those schools, but after those grades you should ask yourself, "Do I really WANT to go to a school that's too academically rigorous for me?".

^Actually, I have a friend who got an A- in the 9th grade. At the beginning of senior year, he got letters from Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT, Columbia, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Georgetown, UCLA, USC, UMich, Case Western, GATech, University of Arkansas, the Community Colleges, and McDonalds that read: "Don't even think about applying." He spent the rest of his life fending off the GPA Gestapo and died in a trash can.

Okay, I'll stop there, you have an amazing transcript, congrats on doing so well in school. :)
