Okay I applied in late august, however i have not sent in my act scores yet.
I got a letter in the mail today saying, they received my application and they require more information before making a final decision.
It asks for my seventh semester grades and to forward my most recent standardized test scores.

Does this mean i am deferred or are they just requiring more information...
I was expecting an immediate rejection so i excited that they asked for my 7th semester grades... but is this standard for everyone?

why don’t you just send them in and find out?

Well 7th semester doesn’t end until like december.

That’s a deference letter. MSU and U of M are the same in this regard- they don’t like to reject people flat-out. They send deference letters and rarely rejections until the spring.

I wouldn’t think this is a defference letter. they really do need your standardized test scores before they can admit you. send those in and see what happens

Hmm… I assumed that something had been sent in. The application is only processed if they have all parts of the application.
