Is this a difficult course load yeah or no? Maybe too difficult?

I did complete IGETC and all major pre-req, and as far as personal statement goes… I feel like I conveyed the message, but I guess it just was not what they were looking for. I would gladly show you the personal statement I used that resulted in acceptance to (LA, USC, LMU, UCI) but again not Cal. I did not TAP or TAG (where available) any of the schools.

As far as Ivy League acceptance I think we are both saying the same exact thing just in a different way. Yes, those schools are on a level all their own; however, I still consider the UC system one of the best (if not the best) state school systems. With that being said LA and Cal are usually regarded as the top schools in that system so that is my logic behind the classification.

Again, I think you have a chance at any school you want to go to. In addition to that, not applying to any school that you really want to go to because of the advice you receive here or from any counselor is just silly in my opinion.

The only advice I can offer is make sure that you have made the necessary adjustments within yourself before heading off to the next level. Refine those study habits, make sure your major is something that interests you, make sure the school you select fits your personality and lifestyle, all of those things will have a huge impact on your ability to succeed. The best counselor in the world is a mirror, be honest with what you are willing to do and the level of work you are willing to put into succeeding. Anyways, I will get off my soapbox now haha. Best of Luck and keep working hard.
