Is this a doable schedule?

Hi!!!

I am a transfer student, so this fall will be my first semester. My major is Applied Math.
Here is my schedule for fall

Math 110
Stat 134 with Pitman
Econ 101b
UGBA 103

Do you guys think thats a doable schedule? Also, Do I need UGBA101A in order to do well in 103?

Thanks.

You do not need UGBA 101A to do well in UGBA 103. It’s difficult to tell if it’s a doable schedule because that is based on the person him- or herself who is taking it.

For an average Berkeley student, is this doable?

The “average” student probably wouldn’t want to go near any upper division math or statistics course, or Economics 101B, since the “average” student is not mathematically inclined.

But the schedule should be fine for an “average” math or statistics major. None of the courses have labs, so they should not be especially high in workload.

depends on the person. It might be a really easy/fun courseload for some but hell for others.

The “average” student at Cal would have brown stains on their underwear if they were forced to have that schedule.

For an average “technical major” student at Cal, this is a plain vanilla schedule.

And no, 103 does not draw on any of the material from 101a.

This is probably on the easier side for 2nd/3rd year applied math major.
