Is this a good airfare price?

<p>Dulles to B’ham, $288 for travel in October. Does anyone know if that is a good price?</p>

<p>Yes, You can sometimes fly out of BWI for that price. Sometimes even cheaper if Southwest has a fare sale going. But usually flights from Dulles or Reagan are $300+and many times $400+</p>

<p>That is a good price and is about average as far as WAS-BHM airfares go. I’m currently seeing $124 roundtrip out of BWI, which is an excellent price provided one can get to BWI.</p>

<p>I live about 2.5 hours from BWI. I make the trek there (Dulles is just an hour or so away) to save as much as $100 to $200 a flight. Check Southwest to see if you can get a little better price.</p>
