I don't have any extracurricular activities while at the community college yet. I am applying to schools this Fall. My major is computer science. I want to go to Berkeley or UCSD preferably. I will have around a 3.6 GPA by the end of this fall.

I have found someone who might hire me as a computer and network support specialist, but I will only be doing it for 5 weeks (until June 17th) because my summer class schedules will conflict with the hours of work. I don't have the experience, but he said he can teach me. Hourly salary is just around 11 bucks an hour, and it's like an 18 minute drive. He told me I can commit to five weeks, and that is fine. I will be doing it for the next five weeks, 12 hours a week if I take the job.

I don't have experience, and even if he teaches me, I feel like it may be stressful if I struggle at work. I am one of those people who needs a lot of practice before being good at it, like a lot, unlike some of those natural smart people.

Should I take the job even if it's five weeks? Will schools question why I only did it for five weeks?
