As compared to what? What sorts of colleges are you targeting? What might be excellent to your classmates or grandmother might be “meh” to Stanford.

Most schools’ main criteria is GPA/transcript and scores. Read through some of the replies here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/1813480-are-these-ecs-good-advice.html

I’d group a lot of your activities thematically under “Advocacy and Public Policy”:

  • Debate Club (list years) -- 3rd Place District LD -- Went to Regionals for LD -- Policy Debater
  • Member of the Extemporaneous Speaking Team -- Placed 2nd at District in Informative Speaking -- Went to Regionals in Informative Speaking -- Placed 3rd at District in Persuasive Speaking -- Went to Regionals in Persuasive Speaking
  • Member of the Current Events Team -- Team went to regionals and placed 2nd

That shows much more depth and focus.

Beyond that it sounds like you have some music (band, UIL solo), creative writing, and student council, none of which particularly stand out. But the depth of your advocacy/policy interest is impressive, especially if you can relate it to your coursework, long term interest, or to social engagement.
