Please chance me and thank you in advance!

It would be easier to chance you if we had more information about you. As of now, we know you have a 30 ACT, 3.92 junior year GPA, and that you don’t have any special extra curricular activies, which may make a few of the college’s on your list a high reach. Also, I would definitely advise you to reduce your list to around 10. Applying to 18 colleges can take up a lot of time, effort, and money. Best of luck!

First thank you!

more information on EC
I might be mandarin tutor in my senior year, that could be one of my EC.
I also volunteered in Operation Smile once (about 5 days).
I led a team in the 9th Annual Asian Regional Space Settlement Design Competition and we got runner-up award.

Probably I will apply to 10-15 colleges…that’s why I want to know which colleges might be “out of reach” for me.

Are those all of the EC’s?

are you a green card holder of US?

no…as I said I’m an international student
but I am studying in the states

Georgetown might be out of reach
Vandy is high reach
Tufts is a reach
These may be out of reach for international because of minimal EC’s

ok…so others are reach or match? Are there any safety?

UCLA and UNC may also be high reach
the rest are reach/match/low match

Got it. Thank you again.

NYU: high reach
UNC-Chapel Hill: high reach
wake forest: mid reach
lehigh: high match
villanova: high match
drew: match
UIUC: high match
UCSB: match
UCLA: mid reach
wheaton college(IL): mid reach
pepperdine: high match
occidental college: high match
connecticut college: low reach
vanderbilt: high reach
georgetown: high reach
fordham: low match
tufts: high reach
lafayette college: mid match

My chances are based on if you beef up your ECs cause it’s unlikely you will get into any American university with competitive admissions with those ECs. You need to do more things, start something yourself, get a leadership position. Without them, all of these are reach. Some of the high reaches are out of reach, however, even if you do beef up your ECs. I’d say these are Georgetown, UNC, and Vanderbilt.
