<p>From what I can tell, most students who did not get in anywhere they liked went to community college and then transferred as juniors to state universities. Some do quite well, going to graduate school in some of the top graduate programs in their majors.</p>
<p>Shouldn’t your friend consider that? If he has that many APs, then he may be able to reach transfer-readiness after only one year of community college, depending on his major.</p>
