Is this a good list/What are my chances!??!?!?!?

Hello everybody,

I'm applying to:
Princeton
Harvard
Yale
Duke
Brown
UVA
William and Mary
VA Tech

Apps are due in a month, would you please tell me my chances of getting into these schools?

GPA (unweighted)
9th: 3.8
10th: 4.0
11th: 4.1
12th: 4.2 (so far)
Total: around 4.1

SATs: 1380 (690M 690V)----- retaking january, aiming for at least a 10 point increase in each section
SAT IIs: 750IIC, 680IC, 730 Writing, 630 Physics

APs: AP Music Theory (5), AP Lang (4), BC Calc (this year), AP Physics B (this year), AP Lit (this year), the rest basically honors

ECs:
Piano for 12 years (submitting a recording and detailed resume-- gotten several awards, played for Barbara Bush, lots of stuff there)
Church activities (all sorts of community service, etc.- big part of my life)
National Honor Society
Math Honor Society
Swedish school (outside regular school)
Skiing (go to Germany every year)
Work in Sweden at a confirmation camp during summers
Also work picking berries/making jam in Sweden during summers (go back to Sweden every summer)

Basketball (fun with friends)
Paintball (--)
Chess club (founder, President)
Probably a bit more, can't think of it at the moment

Traveled a lot, lived in Sweden, USA, Italy, The Netherlands, and South Africa and have studied Swedish (first language), English (fluent), French, Italian and Dutch

Awards: lots in piano, lots of honor rolls (All "A", etc.), reward for best religion student in school, musical composition merit awards, etc. etc. etc. etc.

Good essays, good recs, and I've spent 435784357875435 hours working on my app so it should be flawless!

Well, there's more but this is the 'bulk' of it!

So... CHANCES!?????

one question: if your GPA is unweighted, how is it possible that its 4.1 on a 4.0 scale?

How did u play piano for Barbara Bush?
Is this some kind of national honor?

yeah lol playing for barbara bush means nothing.. besides anyone can say that.. btw did i mention i played the flute for bill clinton

and I was backup singer for Elvis.

Oooh I wasn't sure about the difference b/w weighted and unweighted, I thought weighted was compared to others in my class- APs bring it up-? Straight As, anyway.

Bush thing was just an example of what I'd done, no need to get all hooked up on that. Long story, don't feel like explaining.

Back to the topic:

What are my chances?

i'm in the process of applying myself so i'm not exactly sure but..
i think everything looks good for your schools except for the SAT scores-- def. increase your SAT I's

Yeah, that's true. Almost all of them accept January scores, right?

If I can get them to the 1400-1500 range, do you think I'm OK?

Thanks a bunch.

harvard yale and princeton are significant reaches....

Duke and brown arent far behind

uva wm are matches

VT is a safety

Might want to look at some more matches like Bucknell, Holy Cross or Trinity.

Bsbllallstr8- HYP are reaches, but not impossible, right?

HYP = impossible

CaptainMatthew, what do you mean?

Absolutely nothing.

so you don't think my chances of getting in are impossible?

Your chances would be improved significantly if you were to get the SAT above a 1400 (preferably a 1450 or so).

Well I am studying like crazy, and I think I'll get at least above a 1400, but maybe even in the 1500 range. However, I'm taking the SATs in January- that's OK with HYP, right? Should I write them a little note saying I'm retaking in January?
