I'm going to UT-Austin in the fall as a Psychology major in the College of Liberal Arts as a sophomore (due to AP and community college credits). I plan on taking 12 hours every semester of elective classes, psych classes, econ. classes for my minor, and the required foreign languages. I would like to study abroad for a semester or two, but I'm not sure if that would detract from my chances at law school..
Hopefully because of the lack of rigor in my classes, I'll be able to achieve something close to all A's..
Is there any advice that you guys can give me about eventually getting into law school?
Also, I had a 3.83 in 18 hours at the local community college classes in high school. Is that going to hurt me?
Does my basic plan seem like a good one for my goal?

Econ is hard unless you’re really good at Math. It could hurt your GPA.

The psych major bit makes it easier. The econ minor bit makes it more difficult. A 3.83 (so far) GPA shouldn’t hurt you at all, especially if you bring it up, and do well on the LSAT.
