Is this a good schedule for a first semester freshman, or is this too little work?

I'm going to major in ECE and possibly minor in CS and this is what i think i want my first semester to be:

Math 192 (4)
CS 100 (4)
Intro to Engineering (3)
FWS (3)
Engineering Seminar (1)
PE (1)

I plan to use Ap credit to get out of chem and 2 phyics classes and i'm not sure I want to take the third physics right away, so i thought ill try to do the cs and intro to engineering requirement at the same time. The thing is, i've already done some programming and covered many of the topics for math 192 at school already, so I don't think those will be too hard for me, and i'm assuming that the intro to engineering won't be too much work (misconception?), so that pretty much just leaves the writing seminar.

Should I be pushing it more, like everyone else on this forum and will I be behind if i don't? Is there any other class i should consider fitting into my schedule which I could drop if it becomes too much work? Other than math/science I have 6 ap credits for the liberal studies requirements (not as much as other people).

which intro to engineering? Some (like the lasers and nanotech) are pretty hard, while others like the Intro to Entrepreneurship in Engineering are cakewalks. If you've done programming before, CS100 should not be too hard, but it will still be time consuming because of the projects.

Your schedule is fine. It's normal for 1st year engineers, so don't worry. Trust me.

Your schedule looks good. CS 100 can be time consuming though, so I agree on trying to find an easy-ish ENGRI, but also one you're interested in. My first semester was identical to that, but replace the ENGRI with Physics. Also, another recommendation is trying to find an "easier" FWS if possible. Engineering schedules can get really hard because 1. the material is hard and 2. just the amount of work that has to be done for the classes. Sounds like you should be fine though.

Looks pretty good to me!
