<p>I’m a transfer.</p>
<p>yeah i got in on 13th as well.</p>
<p>I got in through UCI on the 13th, so i went to newport beach.
I can back home to learn that i got in UCSD as well, i believe that i had gotten through UCSD on the 13th itself, but they did not bother emailing me, so i did nt check it.
Now that i got into UCSD, i decided hey why not go and take a dip at Sandiego</p>
<p>When are the next batch of decisions coming out ???</p>

<p>I still have the old message. =( On the newparent site it shows John Muir college (my first choice) when I log in. </p>
<p>My stats: Human Development major, 3.95, no tag, igetc not finished (I’m missing the physical science class/lab), major prerequisites met (except for one class only offered at UCSD). I’m just nervous that I couldn’t finish igetc in time. I’m a little behind because I had a kidney transplant in June 2008.</p>

<p>My friend got into the major with a 3.5 and 7/12 of the prerequs finished. Maybe I have hope…</p>

<p>if you didn’t major in biology you’d have a greater chance as well</p>
<p>loller- that definitely boosts my confidence a little! I have no idea what the stats are like for other bio majors…i know the GPAs are pretty high, but there are so many prerequs that it takes forever to complete them- especially while working! I didn’t do a tag- missed the deadline because I decided too late :(</p>
<p>But…I guess all I can do is wait and see :)</p>
<p>I had been following TAG at San Diego Mesa College but then when I went to go sign it with a counselor, I was told that TAG was changed and that I should just follow IGETC (which I had been doing anyway, I just ran out of time with my surgery). I think most counselors have no idea what they are talking about. My boyfriend was told by a counselor during the beginning of his CC career that there was no need to follow IGETC. Luckily, he still managed to get into UCSD.</p>

I agree. My Honors Counselor told me there was special training classes she had to do to become aware of programs like TAG and such…but in reality, I doubt all the counselors at my particular CCC know everything. :/</p>
<p>When I went to my TAG workshop the normal counselor was sick and the woman sent in her place answered every question with “I don’t know.” =(</p>

OMG! When I went to go fill out my UCD Tag, I had an appointment with the Honors Counselor but apparently she was on vacation or something…and some other guy helped me…and he had NO idea what he was doing. He wanted me to mail in the form…omg. >__<;;</p>
<p>honestly if we get denied, we should appeal by saying the counselors dont know jack sh1t, and the UC’s need to improve their communication with CCC, because ultimately, we’re the ones that get screwed over by their incompetence.</p>

That would be a worthy appeal. The UCs/Cal States expect the CCC to inform their students on the requirements and everything of the sort & vice-versa with the CCCs depending on the UCs/Cal States…hahahaha. Love it!!</p>

<p>And, my first choice was Muir, and when I went to that Parent’s website, it took me to Muir. Oh please let us be right about both things, acceptance AND the colleges!</p>

<p>I had the housing message, and I got accepted today. Pre-Writing/Literature Major, Revelle college. But now that I know I’m in Revelle with all those horrible requirements, I’m switiching to Economics.</p>
