Is this a good strategy?

So I was thinking about the whole combined SAT score thing

Could someone really focus on, say the math section on one test and slack off on the other sections (do some q's but bs the essay etc.) as to not tire your brain and then take it again and focus on the CR section & writing?

I don't plan on doing this b.c i havent taken the sats yet (and im class of '09) and i only have one shot before ED, but just wondering what ppl thought

If you’re talking about super-score, then in theory, you could do that. However…it seems like a waste of time and money to me. You might as well try on the other sections instead of just slacking off if you paid for it. In practice, I don’t think it’s advisable.

^Yeah, I don’t the point of doing that, unless you plan taking a nap during your other sections, in which case you’ll probably be prodded by a confused proctor.

It’s a waste of time/money since you can’t legally work on the section you want a high score on while the rest of the test takers are on another.

colleges look down at this type of thing…

Great idea, you should try it.

Only and idiot would do this. A very rich idiot. Or maybe just an idiot.

no no! its not a good idea,i think. Such a big waste :(
