Is this a good structural engineering programme?

What do you guys think of this programme?

<a href="http://www.ivt.ntnu.no/imt/docs/MSc_Marine_Structures.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.ivt.ntnu.no/imt/docs/MSc_Marine_Structures.pdf</a></p>

Anyone.....?

I'm not sure that any of us is familiar with either Norwegian technical schools or marine structures, which would be required to give an opinion about the program. It has the sorts of things that I would expect of a good marine program, but I have no idea about the reputation of the program or the sort of weight that a degree like that would carry with employers... It could be quite good, but I just am not familiar with it.

Thank you for you opinion Aibarr! But is this education useless in the United States for example?

I sincerely doubt it'd be useless... we do make boats here... If you aren't from the States, though, it might be more difficult to get a job in the more prominent field of naval marine vessel design. They usually only let American citizens work on that sort of thing.

Hehe, security-clearence I guess.=)
However, earlier you mentioned that in the pdf you read that the programme had the things a good marine program should have, what exactly are these things?

I was mainly looking for finite element courses and some structural analysis courses.

Okey, thanks man!=) Anyone else have any good inputs?
