<p>Siblings do not usually count as legacies. They can, however, provide a small boost because kids with siblings in the school are usually more comitted (ie won't turn the school down for somewhere else).</p>

<p>Descartes, my friend may be a special case but he did apply to Duke as somewhat of a last resort. I have no basis to say you're wrong; I am merely curious.</p>
